Our host was fantastic, gave us a helpful intro tour and shared neighbourhood recommendations. We spent a week here in December. The apartment was clean and roomy enough for four, and with a bus stop nearby, getting into central Edinburgh was quick.
After I booked the apartment through Bookabach for nine nights, I paid a NZ $5,757 deposit and got confirmation. Later, the host cancelled without giving a reason. I got a refund, but it was NZ $164 short. I contacted Vrbo to ask for the full amount back. They emailed me a case number, then I heard nothing for a month, even after writing to them again. I'd be cautious about booking this property or using Bookabach/Vrbo.
Despite being in the city, the apartment is quiet and peaceful, and it has everything you need. It's beautifully appointed and in a great spot, with Hollyrood Park and Arthur's Seat practically on the doorstep. The city centre is about a 20-minute walk, and some stunning beaches are a short drive away. Fantastic place.
You can comfortably fit six people in this spacious, beautiful apartment. It's right in the city centre, easy to find, and has lovely views of Holyrood Park.
Just a 10-minute walk to Royal Mile, and there's a secret door to Holyrood Park only five minutes away. The bedrooms and bathrooms are great, the kitchen's good, and there's a nice TV room. Great place to stay ☺😊😊
