I’ve been at Leonardo Inn Hotel Glasgow West End for about three weeks, and it’s become a place I’m completely attached to. The people here are what put it at the top of all the places I’ve stayed. Whatever small issues can come with a short or long stay, the kindness of this professional team outweighs them. They feel like a supportive family, with everyone smiling, helping and finding ways to exceed expectations. A few people deserve a special mention. George & Scott are amazing and make you feel welcome as soon as you see them, the besties. Sharline is so kind and attentive, always checking we had what we needed. Liam and the big Polish gentleman at reception are both brilliant at their jobs and a real asset to the hotel. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If I could give it seven stars, I would. The room was comfortable, though it took me a few minutes to figure out the shower. Breakfast from the buffet was good, just missing square sausage! 😁 It’s a quiet spot with handy public transport: bus stops a few hundred yards away and two train stations nearby. The staff were very helpful, even helping me pick something from the bar menu. A relaxing stay.

The food was only okay at our special occasion in the function room. My steak pie tasted nice but was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting out, and the cheesecake was poor. Others had the sticky toffee, which wasn’t the best either. The staff, though, were very good and attentive throughout the event. The kids couldn’t find anything they wanted on the main menu, so staff quickly brought them a children’s menu.

We stayed on Monday 23rd Feb 26 because I had an early appointment at the hospital next to the hotel. From check-in through dinner and breakfast, everything was great. Scott in the restaurant was especially helpful and a great asset. All the staff were very helpful. We’d recommend the hotel. Thank you, Mr & Mrs Livingstone.

The Grill serves really tasty food, and breakfast was very nice too. The hotel is well priced and convenient for trains and places in West Glasgow, though it could do with a refurb. The staff are so kind and friendly, and the price was very good.
