I came in February for a couple of nights to see the city where I was born. The guest house was happy to let me stay on my own at 17, which I appreciated. It was a good walkable location, about 8-10 minutes away. The staff were kind, the breakfast was great, and I gave them flowers to thank them for being so welcoming. A big thank you to the staff for their hospitality and hard work!

Stayed over New Year and had a lovely little visit. The room was comfortable and welcoming, with everything I needed, and breakfast was yummy 😋. Local shops are close by, and there’s handy parking nearby. Thanks for having me. Rose.

The proprietor was very helpful and I’m sure would do his best to meet any requirements. The rooms were clean, breakfast was fine, and parking right next door was convenient and very reasonably priced. It’s about a ten-minute walk into town. The main drawback is the steep stairs for anyone with mobility problems. Even a ground-floor room still means steep steps down to the dining room.

The host was lovely, and breakfast was plentiful and very nice. The place is close to the city centre, and parking can be arranged with the owners in advance, currently £5 for 24 hours. My room was simple, with two single beds, a bedside table and lamp, cupboard space for clothes, and a chair. There was also tea-making kit and an en suite bathroom.

Breakfast was really filling and set me up for the day. The room also had loads of useful things: a fridge, microwave, iron and board, hairdryer, sink, tea and coffee facilities, towels, and shower gel and shampoo.
