The bathroom was really clean and looked refurbished. It was fairly quiet, though some guests were loud at times. Later at night, you have to use the intercom, and they check that you have a room booking before opening the doors, so it felt safe. I stayed one night as a stopover while visiting Think Forensic. You expect budget accommodation, so that was fine. There’s a local shop outside next to the Travelodge, which is handy.

The rooms were clean and fresh, and the guy at the counter was amazing. He was really helpful and did his best while we were there. Couldn't ask for more.

The staff were amazing, especially Karina, who was always smiling and went above and beyond. The place was very clean, though the WiFi wasn’t the best. I’d recommend it, and thank you for looking after us. I had to stay at the travel lodge for just over two weeks while some work was done on my house. The room was clean, but it wasn’t easy for me, my hubby and son to share it, as my son is autistic.

Jodie on reception has been exceptionally helpful with everything I’ve needed for my room and stay. Kerry the manager has also made sure I’ve been well looked after and that all the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are excellent, the rooms are kept spotless, and everyone has a great attitude towards guests. A big thank you to the team, and keep it up :)

We stay here about three times a year when visiting family. It’s in a great spot near town, with a pub, Costa Coffee and a shop practically next door. The front can be a bit noisy, so it’s best to try for a room at the rear. The staff are lovely, especially Jody, who’s been there a while and always makes us feel welcome.
