Rosedene Highland House - King Studio Apartment 9

The apartment above us made disturbing noises, though I have no way to prove that, and I stand by what I experienced. The manager also said I ignored WhatsApp messages. My replies were limited, but I had paid upfront for a non-cancellable booking and couldn’t make changes. The property accused me of overcrowding it, which is false. The only extra guest was a six-month-old infant, and I’ve attached evidence. They also said I set the heat to 24 degrees at night. I had no choice, since the heating didn’t work properly, especially overnight when it was 8-10 degrees outside. My stay was uncomfortable and outrageously expensive. The Booking.com photos were misleading because they didn’t show the exterior of the extension where we were placed. I’m appalled by the baseless claims from this so-called “world-class accredited” establishment. The online listing didn’t represent the property properly, and the high price wasn’t justified.

The rooms were clean and had what you’d need to cook, including a washing machine, dishwasher, stove, and utensils. It’s a nice, small, cozy hotel, close to a section of the ness lake where you can walk and enjoy the view. Check-in is self-service. You receive codes for the entrance door and your room, and there’s no one there to greet you.

Our whole family was impressed by the apartment. It was beautifully designed, with every detail carefully considered, and the peaceful location is lovely, just a scenic walk from town. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, going out of his way several times, including upgrading our rooms when we extended the stay by two nights. A 10/10 stay, property, and amenities. Highly recommend Rosendene House!

We had a fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment that had everything we needed. The proprietor was so nice, and the rooms were lovely with all the modern amenities. It’s in a great spot near the city centre.
