The rooms were clean and new, but they didn’t replace towels or toiletries daily. We were told we’d only get a fresh towel after two nights, which made me wonder what the point was. Breakfast was cold, just bread, tea, coffee and cornflakes, with no eggs or anything else. That was disappointing, and the owners weren’t friendly at all. I stayed for three nights. The place is really in the middle of nowhere, and we were lucky to have a car. It would be a nightmare without one. For the price, it wasn’t worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to be treated badly.

It’s a quiet, tucked away spot, and the place was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was continental rather than hot, but it was very good, so I can’t complain and would recommend staying here. It was a little pricey.

After a long journey, we arrived at the property and were turned away at 10 pm, in an unfamiliar place. The owner was extremely rude and said he didn’t want our money. Why run a B&B with that kind of attitude? It turned out he wanted our money without providing accommodation. We still haven’t received a refund.

It’s lovely, clean, warm and very well kept. The place is out in the sticks, which makes it peaceful and quiet. The only thing missing for me was a bar, but I suppose you can’t have everything.

Fine for a night or two. You can get breakfast, and ask for lunch or dinner as well. The room was too hot, and sometimes there was no hot water.
