The rooms look out over a wild garden where you can spot various birds and red squirrels. It’s an excellent place to stay, with thoughtful touches in a comfortable room and a well cooked breakfast. Emily works tirelessly to make it a good experience for guests, and does it all with sustainability in mind.

The wildlife garden was a highlight for us. We spotted red squirrels and birds on nearly every day of our stay, and really liked the thought put into making the place more eco-friendly. Our room at Monamore was quiet, roomy, spotless and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, there were homemade treats in the room, and our host was wonderfully friendly. The Arran recommendations book was handy too. We had an amazing visit and would happily come back.

Emily made us feel so welcome, and her local notes were genuinely useful. We stayed in the Dun Fionn room, which had loads of space, a lovely soaking tub, and tasty snacks, tea and coffee waiting for us. It’s an easy walk to Lamlash or the nearest bus stop. We were glad the B&B allowed a one-night stay, though I wish we’d had time to stay longer. I’d definitely book again.

Emily made our biking stop feel special from the moment we arrived. She was warm and welcoming throughout. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the guest book is the best I’ve come across, about 40 pages of useful information. I’ve been to Arran five times and still learned plenty from it.

The baby rabbits in the garden were a lovely surprise. Emily was so helpful, and the breakfast was fabulous. We had an extremely comfortable stay.
