The guesthouse is right on the beach, and the view made the stay feel special. Check-in was easy: our room code was in an envelope on the reception table. We could choose a breakfast time and pre-order, which saved time since we had an early ferry to catch. The room was very comfortable, and the Dolce Gusto was a nice touch. The Full Scottish breakfast was delicious, especially the haggis.

We had a lovely stay and thought it was great value for money. Our room had a beautiful view and a clean bathroom, and the staff from both the guest house and restaurant were welcoming, attentive and lovely. The breakfast was fantastic, with a good continental selection, fresh pasties and excellent cooked options. I had eggs royale and loved it. My partner is vegetarian and had a full vegetarian breakfast. There were brilliant veggie and vegan choices, which is a real bonus since many places don't cater well for V/VE. We didn't have dinner there, but the restaurant smelled amazing the night we stayed, so we'll definitely try it next time. We love coming to Arran. Thanks for a lovely visit :)

We woke to an amazing Arras sunrise over the sea. The staff were great, and everyone was kind and helpful. The food was some of the best we've ever had. Simply perfect, one of the best places we've stayed.

The hosts couldn't have been more attentive, and breakfast was excellent. Duncan knew the island inside out and was full of useful information. Our clean room had a lovely sea view, and the bed was very comfortable, with a great shower and lovely towels. Blackout curtains would help with the early sunrise, though I might have missed the chance to take a picture. We'll definitely be back.

The staff were really lovely and accommodating. They made an amazing cooked breakfast and had vegan options too.
