My Premier Plus room had a strong smoke smell. I’d been staying here for work for the last three weeks and hadn’t had a decent meal. The fish and chips were soggy. I ordered nachos, but they left out the sour cream because they didn’t have any and never told me. Two weeks later I tried the festive “pulled turkey” nachos. What I got was chopped-up dry turkey over warmed-up nachos. I sent it back, and they served it again. The melted brie burger was a big chunk of brie on a flat processed burger, couldn’t look less appetising if it had been dropped on the floor. I didn’t see a single hairnet on any of the chefs. The server was lovely and said the chefs were new, though she said they were cooking to Premier Inn’s specifications. She comped me a coffee, but that didn’t make up for the disappointing, horrific food. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

From my seventh-floor room I could see across Leeds, including the stadium. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, with a TV, kettle, hairdryer, towels, toiletries, wardrobe and hangers. Staff were lovely, especially Sabrina at check-in, who was so welcoming and helpful she ought to be a manager if she isn't already. Parking was easy to find off the main road, up the slope on the right, and there seemed to be plenty when I visited, including disabled bays. Shops, cafés and pubs are close by. A comfortable stay, and I'd definitely book again when I'm visiting Headingley.

The room was quiet and clean, with a big bed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's right in the middle of Headingley, handy for a short city break. The roof car park was good and easy to access from the hotel. I skipped breakfast, though what I saw of it looked fine.

I stay here regularly when I'm at University. It's always clean and tidy, and the food's decent too. 👍
