The room was quiet and modern, and breakfast was included and very nice. We also found the location handy, about a 10-minute walk from the World Museum and Liverpool One. My boyfriend and I had booked a standard double, but were given twin beds instead. Reception said they couldn't move us because there were no doubles available. It wasn't a huge problem, and the room itself was lovely. The only small letdown was that the TV didn't have Chromecast, so we watched regular television at night and in the morning.

The food was great, and the hotel had a lovely atmosphere. Everyone we met, from the front desk to the waiting team and cleaners, was welcoming, polite, and pleasant. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Well done to the staff. I'll definitely stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

As a first-time solo traveler, I felt very well looked after at Holiday Inn - Duke street. In the morning, Laila (I think she was Egyptian!) helped me plan what to see in Liverpool and get a better feel for the city's culture. She was also prompt as a waitress. I'd definitely suggest staying here.

We all enjoyed our two-night stay. There were four of us in one family room, and the hotel was clean, quiet, and in a very central spot. Given where it is, I expected more noise, but it was really peaceful. The staff were courteous, and breakfast was good. A great little hotel.

The only letdown was breakfast, though it was adequate for the room price. Otherwise, my wife and I had a pleasant one-night stay in a double room on the 7th floor. It was quiet, with a comfortable bed, pillows, and sheets. The location gives quick access to Bold Street and, a little farther on, Liverpool One. Staff were friendly, especially Martha at reception. I'd stay again when I'm in the area.
