The sea view from the three downstairs lounge rooms was fantastic, and the whole area was immaculate and nicely presented. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials. The staff were helpful and polite, especially the two young men who served us a lovely breakfast and kept checking that we were enjoying our stay. I was sorry we had booked only two nights and plan to stay longer on my next visit. I really enjoyed it, thank you.

The staff were friendly, and the location was good. Our room was on the small side but very clean. The mattress felt fairly soft, though I know that's a personal preference. We skipped breakfast, but had a drink in the bar, which is a nice space.

The location right on the seafront was lovely, and the staff were friendly. We paid £130 for two rooms for one night, and I was upgraded from a single to a double. The rooms had plenty of lamps, a light with a USB charging port, a kettle with tea and coffee, plus an iron and ironing board on the wall, a hairdryer and a phone. There were some serious problems, though. Both showers were out of order, and neither room had hot water from the taps. I was tired and just took a cold shower instead of complaining. The rooms felt cold and draughty even on a hot day, and the furniture looked like it needed a deep clean. There isn't parking at the hotel. You can park on the seafront free from 4pm to 10am, then it's £5.50 for more than two hours. I personally wouldn't come back, but would recommend it to someone keen to try new places.

There's a pleasant bar and beer garden downstairs, and the rooms are better if you book one overlooking the sea. The view of the pier is smashing. A pretty good hotel overall. 😀
