Our room, Ty Gwyn, was spotless and had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There was tea, coffee, two bottles of water and two chocolates, though only one packet of biscuits. The bed had a warm duvet, which came in handy when the heating went off and the room cooled overnight. The big window also let in a draft, so the chairs by it shown in the website photo weren't a comfortable spot to sit. We noticed another draft at breakfast and moved tables. The location at Holcombe House is handy for town and attractions like the beaches and tram. Its car park only just fits two cars, but we arrived as someone was leaving and got a spot right outside. We stayed two nights at the end of November 2025. Breakfast was hot, plentiful and tasty both mornings. After exploring Llandudno, we came back around 5:30 pm to find the tea and coffee replenished, but the bed hadn't been made and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied. That didn't feel like the service I'd expect from a four-star guest house. There was plenty of hot water for my bath and my partner's shower before we went out for dinner. In summer, the window drafts might be less noticeable, and the high ceiling in our room could be a plus in hot weather.

We loved how close the guest house was to the tram, promenade and other attractions, and parking on nearby streets was never a problem. The gardens were beautiful, and breakfast came with friendly service. The cooked breakfast was delicious, especially alongside the creamy local yoghurts and fruit salad. We'd happily book the family room again. Thanks, Jose and team!

The location is peaceful beneath the Orme, with the beaches, high street and Haulfre Gardens still easy to get to. Our host made everyone feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The Victorian-style guest house had spacious, clean rooms with light decor and lots of thoughtful touches. There are facilities for drying things if you get caught in the rain, and you can order a packed lunch or have your flask filled. Internet was good too.

I felt completely at home during my stay. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and you can tell they put real care into making guests comfortable. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and I really appreciated them catering for my gluten intolerance. The guesthouse is well placed too, with a pub nearby for dinner and the main waterfront an easy walk away.
