Absolute Pleasure Yacht

Jonny was great about making the arrangements we’d specifically asked for, and David and Dana were warm and welcoming throughout. We celebrated my husband’s surprise 40th birthday here, and everyone had a brilliant night. I’d happily recommend the venue.

The rooms had enough space for our group of 10, and it was the only place we found that could host a larger party under the government restrictions. I had a lovely birthday here. We did leave the shared areas messy, so the cleaning charge came out of our deposit. The rest of the refund took longer than expected, but Jonny and the other staff kept in touch and were very kind. Sorry again for the trouble, and I hope to come back. ✨

They still owe me the last £80. The lawyer I’ve been emailing has been saying they’re “chasing this up” for months. I had to make a court claim after waiting months for a refund and getting no replies to my calls or emails. They eventually returned most of my money, but not all of it. Months earlier, they’d cancelled our booking the day before we were due to arrive. We got no compensation, and the short notice forced us to spend a huge amount booking somewhere else. They also weren’t keen to return the full amount I’d paid. Thank goodness they let me pay the refundable £500 deposit when I arrived, or I’d have been nearly two grand short for months. Scammers. Read the bad reviews before booking. Honestly, I’d ignore the five-star ones.

The beds were comfy, the towels were really fluffy, and both the inside and outside of the yacht were comfortable. The stereo was great too. We hired this lovely ship for a milestone birthday, and Michael, Jonny and all the staff were wonderful to deal with before the booking and during our stay. The Absolute Pleasure team replied quickly and were happy to handle our requests, including moving the bulky dining table out of the way. Everything we needed was there when we needed it, whether for a small get-together or a party. It’s a great choice for a special occasion, or just a luxury treat with friends. I’d highly recommend it.
