Bloomsbury - London Regent Apartments

The only thing I didn't love was the towel setup. There's just one hanger on the toilet door, so two towels kept falling onto the floor. A few more hooks would help. Otherwise, we'd definitely stay again if we're back around Bloomsbury. The room had plenty of space for us to unpack, the bed was extremely comfortable, and housekeeping topped up our chamomile tea the day after we'd finished it. Breakfast had enough variety to set us up for the day. The location was quiet, away from London's busier areas, but still within walking distance of Russell Square Station and convenient for getting around. Tesco Express nearby made it easy to pick up fruit and mineral water each day. Christina helped us change from twin beds to a king at check-in, and Taz sorted out details with the taxi company for our airport transfer. He also lent us a luggage scale at checkout, so we could check our bags.

We came from County Durham for a theatre trip, and chose Holiday Inn Bloomsbury because it was just one stop down the Piccadilly Line from Kings Cross and a short walk to the theatre. The hotel has a modern feel, with smart refurbishment throughout. We arrived mid-afternoon and ate in the bar. While we were chatting with the friendly staff about the trip, I mentioned it was my birthday and was surprised with a birthday treat. Habi and the team were so attentive. It was exactly the welcome we'd hoped for. Thank you.

The team made the hotel feel welcoming throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Aleena at the restaurant deserves a special mention for her kind, attentive service, warm smile, and thoughtful recommendations. She went out of her way to make sure everything was right. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and well prepared, so we looked forward to each meal. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, a relaxing place to come back to after a busy day in London. I was very impressed with the stay and would gladly return.

I'm staying here for the next few weeks and already can't wait to come back. I work away full time all over the country, mainly in London, and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The rooms are spacious and clean, the mini fridge gets stocked daily, and the location is great. The breakfast has loads to choose from, including lovely fresh fruit, pastries, and hot food. The food is delicious, and the servers are always ready to help. Aleena especially has been fantastic this week, with great manners and attention to detail. Thank you!
