The manager was incredibly helpful when I had to extend my work stay for a couple of nights at short notice. They found a solution and made the process smooth and stress-free. I really appreciated the support and service. The hotel has good facilities, the staff were excellent, and I liked it enough to extend my stay after initially booking for work.

The chicken burger at the Holiday Inn round the corner isn’t worth £5 to me, but I’d happily pay £20 just for the Chimmichuri sauce that comes with the Flat Iron chicken. My God. This place has everything you need. The staff are friendly, polite and professional, and the rooms are impeccable. I’ve seen enough of the Holiday Inn and Hilton. Just book this hotel, you won’t be disappointed.

We got a complimentary bottle of wine, which we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was close to shops and restaurants, too. We chose the hotel for a two-night Valentine’s Day stay. It was pleasant and good value for money.

There’s a kettle and mugs in the room, but no tea or coffee, which is odd. The fridge cabinet was completely empty too. The rooms feel very old-fashioned, with cracked, old furniture. Staff members were polite, but the hospitality was nowhere near what we’ve experienced at lower-star hotels. I don’t think this place deserves more than two stars, and at nearly £90 a night, it definitely isn’t worth the price.
