Dolphin House Serviced Apartments

Our apartment was excellent, and the location is well worth recommending. Maurice was on reception when we checked in and was so friendly and helpful.

We felt safe and at home in the apartment. During lockdown, when other hotels had limited services, the professional 24/7 reception, daily housekeeping, towel changes, and even room service were exceptional. Reception staff were always ready to help, and the housekeepers were willing to meet guests’ needs. The room was spacious and sunny, with a large, very comfortable bed. The kitchen had all the essentials except a sponge, and there was nothing else I could fault. I did have to ask for one to wash dishes. Reception initially declined politely, but a housekeeper understood the inconvenience and gave me one, thank you! It would be good if management made sure details like this were covered in the apartments.

The only real problem was the heat in the room. Even with the fan on and the window open, we struggled a bit. Otherwise, the studio was comfortable and large, with plenty of space for two people. The apartments are a great base for exploring the city, with good local facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was serviced to a high standard every day. Great place to stay, and I look forward to going back.

The best thing is how central the apartments are for seeing different parts of London on foot or by metro. We only stayed two days and wished we could have stayed longer. The complex has two small convenience stores, a restaurant, a pool with sauna and steam room, a gym with workout classes, and a spa. We tried the pool and sauna, and both were very nice. There’s also a pleasant outdoor seating area with a fountain behind the complex. With so many pubs, cafes, and restaurants nearby, we chose to eat out. From the start, our stay at Dolphin Serviced Apartments went well. We arrived early and could leave our bags, then later returned to find we’d been upgraded to a suite with a separate sitting area. The staff were professional, cheerful, and helpful. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, with wonderful beds and lots of pillows, plus everything needed to prepare meals if we wanted. Highly recommend.
