The bus station is only a few minutes' walk away, and it's about 40 minutes to central London. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Paying by card was easy and very cheap: you pay for the first rides up to £5, then all transport is free.
The area felt quite dirty and not very safe. When I arrived late, around 10pm, the host refused to open the door and kept about £110 because I was late. They were rude when I called, provided no accommodation and didn't return my money. It felt like fraud. I've booked places to stay more than 100 times for holidays and business trips, and I've never had such awful service.
A pleasant stay in a quiet area, with shops and restaurants nearby. The room was clean and spacious.
