The staff were responsive, kind, and hardworking, and we felt welcome and well cared for. It's clearly a much-loved pub, in a lovely neighborhood. We only spent one evening and night at Gunmakers, but everything went well: the bed was comfortable, temperature control was excellent, and from the third floor we couldn't hear a thing from the pub or street. Plenty of hot water and a good shower, too. The toasties were delicious. Thanks, Gunmakers!

We didn't stay, but the food at this great traditional pub was outstanding. The homemade pies, sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, and burger were all amazing 🤩

My fiancé and I stopped in for lunch today, but they had no food, which was disappointing though we understood. The bartender was really rude and curt with us. I wouldn't recommend this place.
