There were a few practical things missing from the room: no hand towel rail, no socket near a mirror for doing my hair, and no fridge. Still, it's a quiet spot in Canary Wharf, with quick check-in and very friendly staff. The room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was good value with lots of choice. The chef was engaging and friendly too. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it as good value for this area.

Breakfast was fantastic each morning, especially the live omelette station. There was a fresh, varied selection, presented very well. The chefs were also respectful and accommodating about our halal requirements, using clean utensils and separate pans each morning. That care made us feel comfortable and respected. The location worked well for our family, with lots of places to eat around Canary Wharf and nearby tube stations for getting into central London. The hotel felt relaxing and safe despite the busy area, and the spacious car park made arrival and departure easy. We stayed at Hilton London Canary Wharf for my wife's birthday, and it became one of our most memorable Hilton family stays. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I've stayed at many Hilton properties. Our status was recognised, and we were grateful for a beautiful suite upgrade. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and suited travelling with children. A small issue came up involving another team member. I won't go into the details, because what mattered was how it was handled afterwards. Venera Tatulescu was calm, professional, reassuring, and genuinely caring. She listened, took ownership right away, and made us feel valued as loyal guests. She focused on fixing things and making sure our family felt looked after, rather than making excuses. Problems can happen in hospitality, but the response is what counts. Venera's communication, empathy, and professionalism turned something that could have affected our stay into a reason to think even more highly of the hotel. She deserves real recognition. She reminded me why I stay loyal to Hilton. Thank you to the Hilton London Canary Wharf team, especially Venera, for looking after us on an important occasion. We'll absolutely return, and I'd recommend this welcoming, professional hotel to families and Hilton Honors members visiting London.

From arrival through checkout, the service was exemplary. I was warmly welcomed and recognised as a Hilton Honors Diamond member. I'd let the hotel know my expected arrival time when booking, and everything was beautifully prepared. The luxury toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, and other thoughtful details helped me feel at home and valued. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a chef on duty. Lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea are available too. The lounge serves coffee, tea, and soft drinks during the day, then has an evening social with canapés and drinks. Venera, the Guest Relations manager, makes guests feel especially welcome. The rooms are beautifully appointed and well equipped with air conditioning, a TV, tea and coffee facilities, and either a bath or shower. The location is excellent, less than a two-minute walk from Canary Wharf station, with the shopping malls and River Thames nearby. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant and going the extra mile. For a special occasion or a bit of London luxury, I highly recommend the Hilton Canary Wharf.

Paulette's help with shopping, getting around, and making the most of the area made my trip much easier and more enjoyable. She was so kind and helpful. Even with the Executive Lounge closed, Thilan made sure I felt welcome and looked after. His attentiveness really stood out. People like them are what make a stay memorable. I'll definitely come back!

The rooms, especially on the executive 12th floor, were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent too, with good variety and quality. Katheryna, the hostess, was attentive and warm, and made a real difference to our mornings. The executive lounge was a major drawback. Closing it at 9 p.m. in Canary Wharf doesn't fit the needs of many guests, who work long hours or across time zones and may return around 10 p.m. needing a quiet place to work. When we raised it, Veena from Rumania responded defensively that “all executives go to sleep by 9 p.m. and that is the policy.” It felt dismissive and out of touch. If the issue is food and drink consumption, they could stop serving refreshments and still leave the space open for work. This is a significant concern for us and a reason we'd reconsider staying. We also had several problems with reception. At check-in, my husband, who is a member, wasn't given the usual key card holder, a basic detail that could help prevent losing the cards. When he asked later, the option provided was limited and felt inconsistent and unprofessional. On our last day he asked for a simple printout, but the receptionist gave him the wrong email address, causing a delay of more than 10 minutes. I had to leave breakfast and get another staff member involved because the receptionist seemed unsure what to do. Checkout was concerning as well. My husband told reception clearly that he was checking out and left his luggage there before returning briefly to breakfast. Nobody checked the account or mentioned an outstanding balance then. After he had left the hotel, a staff member approached me at breakfast about it, though I wasn't responsible for the booking. This was inappropriate and could have been avoided with proper procedures. We had a mixed stay. The hotel is comfortable and breakfast service is excellent, but reception needs significant training, and the lounge hours don't suit professionals working in a business district like Canary Wharf. If you're travelling for work, especially with late hours or a need for efficient service, this may not be the best fit.
