The Brownswood

Being able to eat my bar order in my room was handy as a solo traveller, and the bar staff even carried it upstairs for me. Breakfast was a nice continental spread, with lovely fruit salad and healthy choices such as fresh avocado and tomato. The breakfast staff were welcoming and helpful, and the service was wonderful. It’s a great place to stay, right beside a beautiful park. I enjoyed my stay, though I gave four stars because the room was hot, and the fan was too noisy to run all night. I also found it a little pricey for a pub hotel, though perhaps that’s just London.

The neighbourhood was lovely, with a park, a Sainabury's, and a chemist all within a three-minute walk. I stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The room was spacious and clean, and despite being above a pub, I couldn’t hear a thing from inside. The staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

My sister booked rooms for all of us for her wedding last weekend. The staff were superb, especially the ladies at breakfast, and gave us such a warm, kind welcome. The rooms were lovely and the location was great.

I spent two nights here and had a very nice stay. It was quiet, and my room was modern, clean, warm, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the continental breakfast and a lovely Sunday lunch, and the pub has a nice, cosy feel. I’d highly recommend it.
