Riseden Bed and Breakfast

The breakfast room was a light, airy conservatory looking over the garden, with Classic FM adding to the lovely atmosphere. There was a great range of food to suit different tastes, and flexible breakfast times. The proprietors were welcoming, friendly and entertaining, and nothing felt like too much trouble. My room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and meticulously clean, with tasteful decor, a super king size bed and luxurious bedding. The roomy en suite walk in shower was just as clean and luxurious. I especially liked the mermaid ornament and flowers in the bathroom. The B&B sits off the main road in a peaceful, pleasant spot, and makes a handy base for the area. I spent three lovely days there on a walking break, mostly visiting Buttercups Goat Sanctuary, about 3 miles away. There's also a bus into Maidstone and nearby areas. It was my first visit, but I've already booked to return in September. It felt like finding a second home with a real touch of luxury.

We've been back to this B&B several times because the owners are such great hosts and always make us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms are clean and luxurious. Breakfast has plenty of healthy choices, along with a delicious full English.

We were given helpful tips about the local area, and while our daughter was at work I got to relax in the garden. Christine and Andy, thank you for making the stay so friendly and memorable. Andy served us each day, and his warm, professional service felt sincere and consistent. We felt at home with him. I travelled to Maidstone for business with our daughter, and although we arrived quite late, Christine and her husband welcomed us. Our twin room was beautiful, and from the moment we entered the B&B, it felt and smelled clean. Usually at a 4 or 5 star hotel we can't relax until we've sanitized the room ourselves, but we didn't feel the need to do that at Riseden B&B. I had that warm, at-home feeling. Breakfast was freshly prepared from our menu choices. I hope to stay with you again soon.

Christine made what felt like a banquet breakfast for 12 of us the morning before we rode the final leg of our charity bike ride. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and the home was lovely, with a great host. Thanks to Christine and everyone there. I'd highly recommend this B&B.
