The Marlbank Inn

The takeaway we just had was the best Indian food we've had in a long, long time. Indian takeaways are often too oily for us, but this meal was just right. The staff were really friendly too. We'll definitely go back.

We'd walked a long way to this inn and were disappointed to find it wasn't a pub anymore, but an Indian restaurant. We hadn't known about the change. They offered to make us a takeaway, and it was delicious. Parking is easy, dogs aren't allowed, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

We came across The Marlbank Inn while passing through on the way to Hereford, and were surprised to find a pub with an Indian menu. The Paneer Makhani and thalli plate were absolutely delicious, and the butter chicken was exceptional. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere. Thank you, Andy, Tariq and Brooklynne, for a lovely evening. Helen and I will visit again. I can't recommend it enough. David & Helen

My dog was welcome in the bar, and we could sit out in the garden away from others, just as we wanted. The owner and bar staff were so kind and welcoming, and the service was amazing. I had the best paneer curry I've ever had, followed by a lovely dessert. A real food find, though be aware it's a grill bar serving curries rather than a traditional country pub. There were some lovely flowers outside, but the garden and attached campsite could do with a refresh.
