Elmbank Garden Apartment

The bed was really comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The bedroom and good-sized bathroom were heated effectively. The kitchen and living room make a really spacious area, with everything you'd need for a short stay, plus a washing machine and drying rack if you wanted to stay longer. It's a lovely apartment that's been done up really nicely, only a short walk down the hill into Oban and close to pubs, cafes and restaurants.

There are plenty of parking spaces in this lovely residential area. Elmbank Garden Apartment is a fabulous, comfortably furnished place with everything you need for a stay in Oban, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the town centre. McCaig's tower is also just a 10-minute walk away, with amazing views of Oban and beyond.

The bed was lovely and comfortable, though getting out means climbing over each other. We could hear noise from upstairs while watching TV and in bed, and there was only one coffee pod. The flat itself is warm and looks really nice, but it needs a proper clean: crumbs under the couch, a dirty underside to the basin, cracked bathroom tiles, and grout that needs attention in the shower corners. The shower hose needs cleaning too. There was no hand towel or toiletries, despite toiletries being advertised. The toilet seat was wonky and sitting there felt cramped. Arriving at night, we struggled to find the entrance. The path down the side of the building is narrow and dark, and the light can only be switched on from inside. It would have helped to have that on. It's a nice place, but these small things add up and seem easy to fix.

We got here today, Friday the 13th, and we're delighted with the place so far. It's cosy and clean, and town is a nice walk away. Looks like we're in for a great few days 👍🏻🥂🍺
