Villa Bianca has a lovely, authentic feel, and the meal was great. The pizza was good, but the tiramisu was even better. The prices were so fair that at first we thought they'd undercharged us. The waiting staff were professional and the service was amazing. Sadly, we couldn't leave a tip because they only accept cash tips. I'll bring cash next time I'm in the area and will definitely come back.

My partner and I had an amazing meal. The starter, main and dessert were all great. I recommend the mango cheesecake. The decor inside is beautiful, and we'll be back. It's easily my favourite Italian restaurant in Cumbria.

We each agreed the food was authentic, cooked perfectly and served with love. The menu gave me so much choice that it was hard to decide, and we ate in the restaurant on the evening we arrived. We stayed overnight as a family of three after filming in the Penrith area. It's an Italian restaurant with seven guest bedrooms, and the building is truly old and full of character, probably from the 16th Century, though I forgot to ask. Our room slept three adults and was very reasonably priced, including a Full English breakfast. We'll happily return next year and highly recommend it.

The asparagus with egg and Parmesan, then a perfectly grilled fillet steak, was so good I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Outstanding!
