The bathroom is beautiful, and the cottage has lovely beams and other characterful touches. It’s well equipped, too. The village is friendly, and we’d recommend both the Queens Head pub for its excellent food and RoseLea tea rooms for the best tea and scones.

A quiet village and a nicely cared-for cottage. It was pleasant to stay here, and the log fire was a lovely touch.
