Quirky, fun, full of character, and there’s a dog who looks like a boar cross. Loved it! The rooms are good and the beds comfortable. Tony’s an excellent chef, and an even better storyteller. Highly recommend if you’re after an entertaining stay.

We came over from Cardiff for a little getaway and left feeling totally refreshed. Tony was very nice, breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked, and the bed was so comfortable. The amazing freestanding bath helped us relax completely. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in the area. Highly recommend!

A cosy bar with a wonderful open fire makes this quirky little inn feel like a step back in time. Tony, the owner, is quite a character, and his big fluffy dog is adorable. Such a pleasant change from bland, sterile chain hotels.

We weren’t staying at the Dusthole, but our own guest house recommended the food, so we tried it. The portions were massive and the price very reasonable. That Baked Camembert starter came with a whole loaf of bread, not just a few slices, and then a huge main course arrived. We thought there was no way we’d finish it, but the meal was so delightful we didn’t leave a scrap. Truly delicious and memorable, and worth a public mention.

Tony met us when we arrived, let us check in early, took our dinner order and showed us to our room. We had the family room, which was spacious, clean and had both a bath and a separate shower. Dinner was very tasty, especially dessert, and breakfast was just as hood. We were on a ghost hunt at the prison and getting back at 0300 was no problem. Would book again.
