The staff made us feel very welcome, and were accommodating even with our demanding two-year-old daughter, who seemed to make a friend there. Ben, the collie who lives there, even herds you out like sheep. We stopped after a day in Weymouth and ordered food. The menu looked a little expensive at first, but the quality of the local produce was clear, and the cooking had that homely country pub feel. Nothing pretentious, just really good food and huge portions, perfect if you've been on your feet and are hungry. We absolutely loved the place.
