Our guests are still talking about the food, the generous portions and how beautiful the venue was. We were also lucky with the weather, which added to an already perfect day. The team at Wroxeter Hotel made our March wedding so special, and we can’t thank them enough. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue and great service. We first fell for the place at an open day in January 2025. There were several lovely options, but The Woodlands at Wroxeter felt just right for the day we’d imagined. In the months before the wedding, our coordinator Kaya met with us regularly to go through the details. She thought everything through and made planning feel easy and stress-free. On the day, Kaya and the rest of the team kept everything running smoothly, so we could relax and enjoy time with our family and friends. All the staff were attentive, friendly and ready to help us and our guests.

We had a lovely handfasting with friends and family at the Wroxeter in October 2025, and all our guests enjoyed how distinctive the venue was. They had kind things to say about the staff too, and the food was amazing. The woodland area looked beautiful in autumn, and we were lucky to have good weather for it. We went into the planning with little idea of what arranging a wedding ceremony involved. Kaya and Abi were both very helpful, and the whole team made us feel at ease on the day, even with the usual event jitters. We’d happily recommend the Wroxeter to anyone planning a ceremony.

There was plenty to keep the kids busy at the 'Santa at the Farm' event, from writing letters to Santa and colouring to interactive wooden games. Our time with Santa was great too, with no sense of being rushed. The food was plentiful and really tasty, the best roast we’ve had in a while. It was a well-organised family event and a nice way to start the festive season. The barn had a lovely atmosphere and stayed warm with several log burners. I’d highly recommend it, and we’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower in our own private, intimate room in the small conservatory. There was plenty of very nice food, and Jen was welcoming and attentive. I’d recommend having a baby shower here, though you might want to bring a few extra decorations and games.

This is one of my favourite places to shoot. The venue is beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. In spring and summer, the wildflowers and outdoor ceremony area look lovely.
