Jackie made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, with a warm smile and a friendly manner. She got our booking sorted efficiently and clearly explained the information we needed. She also asked whether we’d stayed before and talked us through what to expect so we could have a comfortable visit. Her kindness and professionalism made our first impression of Travelodge outstanding. Jackie’s customer service is a real asset.

The hotel is well kept and very reasonably priced, and Jackie was helpful when we checked out. A special mention to Charlie and the duty manager working around 4pm on 14th March: our son fell and was bleeding a lot, and they brought over a first aid kit and plenty of tissues before we’d even checked in. The staff are really lovely. Thanks for having us.

The receptionists were professional and very helpful, and the place was quite clean. On this visit the bedding was dirty, though it had been clean on earlier stays. Staff replaced it quickly once I let them know. Well-behaved dogs are expensive to bring, and no bowls or anything else are provided.

We stayed for two nights and will definitely come back. The rooms were comfortable, clean and peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, with a good range of shops and places to eat nearby. I’d recommend it.
