There’s plenty of peace and quiet here, and the views are lovely. It’s a good base for exploring nearby sights and the local area. The accommodation has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, all very spacious. We got a lovely welcome from the owner, and cereals, bread, coffee, milk, tea, and jams were provided, along with complimentary samples of local whiskey, gin, and vodka.

George was attentive and left us some lovely little treats when we arrived. There’s fascinating history nearby, which he’s happy to tell you about. The surrounding area is stunning, and we enjoyed every moment there.
