The indoor pool was good, and the bar and restaurant look lovely with reasonable prices. Stuart, the manager, was polite and brilliant, and nothing seemed like a bother to him. Our room was very large and suited what we needed, though a few lights didn't work. The hotel is being renovated, so not everything is perfect yet. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

It was nice, but it was hard to find a staff member when we wanted a drink. The pool door kept shutting and locking, which didn't feel safe with children in the pool. A few months later I tried to get in touch to book the pool and couldn't reach anyone, so I booked somewhere else.

My daughter has been to two pool parties at this hotel and truly enjoyed both. I'm going to look into the prices for her birthday party this year. The staff are polite and helpful, and the swimming coordinator is lovely too.

It's a lovely, warm little pool and ideal for our baby. The showers are nice and hot, and you can use the sauna and steam room too. One issue is that the men's side has no baby changing facilities if my husband takes him, though there is a baby changing area in the women's. I also find it confusing to get around when I come through the main entrance. I never know where reception is or where to go, so I feel like I'm wandering about.

The room got sweltering in the very hot weather we had. There was only a small window, and even with the fan they provided it stayed hot, though that may have been down to the unusual heat rather than normal British weather. The staff had only taken over fairly recently, but seemed natural at the job. The man was so friendly, and the young lad and young girl were polite and helpful. Thanks to everyone at redhouse for making our family stay great and our holiday a bit better!
