Every day the view from the living room and bedroom brought different colours, and it was so quiet and relaxing. The house sits among beautiful nature, with a sense of travelling through history, from 3000 million year old mountains to castle ruins. Ullapool nearby is a nice village, with fresh fish every day. This place belongs on your bucket list.

We’ve just had the best week ever at Tigh na Mara. The cabin is beautiful, with thoughtful attention to detail, and it sits in an idyllic, peaceful spot. The sunsets and views over the Summer Isles and out to the Atlantic are breathtaking. I can’t recommend this bolthole in the Higlands enough. Stunning!

The kitchen was amazing and a dream to cook in. The place is spotless, well equipped, and full of thoughtful details. Stunning views, too, and the sliding doors onto the deck make the inside feel connected to the outdoors. Truly fantastic self catering.
