Breakfast was generous and tasty, and Una was such a lovely host. We had a great night here during our Scotland tour last week. The room was clean and roomy, with a big comfortable bed and a strong shower. The Summer Isles views are stunning. It’s a little off the beaten track, but we’d recommend it. There’s a hotel bar within walking distance; we drove to An Faunan bar for dinner and really enjoyed it.
The views were unreal, and breakfast was top notch. We loved our stay with Una, who was warm, lovely, and full of useful local information. The room was great too.
I wish I could have stayed longer after this stop on my motorcycle trip. Una’s place is a peaceful retreat in one of my favourite parts of Scotland. I had a healthy, plentiful breakfast with perfectly poached eggs, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. The spacious bathroom had a good shower with both an overhead and a standard setting. My immaculate room had plenty of space, a comfortable bed and chair for taking in the view, plus excellent blinds for blocking out the light when you need darkness to sleep.
We spent two nights here and have just got home. The place was very clean, the view spectacular, and our host wonderful. Breakfast was five-star. Highly recommended.
We needed a B&B at the last minute, and Una kindly fitted us in for the night. She gave us a lovely welcome and booked us a table at the nearby pub. It’s a cosy little cottage with an amazing view. Would recommend!
