We booked at the last minute, but they still managed to fit us in. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a short break. We only stayed one night, but got a really friendly welcome. It’s well placed for both the beach and the theatre, with free parking included. We were lucky enough to find a space right outside. Restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. I’m fussy about coffee, and theirs was as good as my home-brewed cup. Good value too.

My daughter and I had a wonderful four-day stay at this lovely guest house. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and a great en-suite with a corner bath, shower and plenty of toiletries. The hostess greeted us so warmly and showed us to the room. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of cereal choices and a cooked selection using local produce, including free-range eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, mushrooms and tomato, plus toast. I’d highly recommend this little gem, even to a very discerning traveller.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and we’re definitely coming back soon. It’s a lovely place at a very reasonable price, with views straight out over the beach or harbour.
