We had a great meal, and the beers on pump were lovely. Everyone looked after us well, from check-in to the waiting staff, and all were well presented. The hotel is in a great spot for getting to Whitby. Highly recommend it, and we’d definitely book a stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice, and our room was cosy. We also had the Mediterranean Mezze one evening, which was excellent. We’ll definitely return.

It’s an old, interesting building in an excellent central location, with a car park. The food and room were both good, and everyone was really friendly and efficient, from the front office and dining room/bar to the cleaning staff. We’d stay again.

The mezze Camembert sharer was absolutely delicious, with lovely flavours and a beautiful presentation. Bagdale Hall is a great setting for a really enjoyable meal. I’d definitely recommend it.

Whitby has plenty going on, so it was lovely to find such a calm, comfortable place to unwind. The lounge is cosy, and the bar fits nicely alongside the restaurant. The food was amazing, the staff were kind and the service was great. With its Tudor history, the place also makes for a distinctive Whitby experience.
