The owners know the Stepantsminda area well and were great at helping us figure out what to do nearby. Their homemade red wine is also a bargain, and was lovely to have on the balcony while watching the sun set over mount Kazbegi. For very little money, we got a large room and an amazing bed, with the feel of a four star hotel. Such a steal.
We had a wonderful stay and would come back. The house was clean throughout, with a nice bathroom and reliably hot water. There’s a kettle, and the owners brought fresh water for it; tea, coffee, cups, plates, and use of the kitchen were available too. The views from every room are outstanding, and the cozy balcony terrace is a lovely place to sit at the table with food or drinks and look toward Kazbegi. The family welcomed us with tasty homemade wine, so we bought a bottle for 10 lari. Lela's husband drove us to the end of Truso Valley. It was so beautiful, and we recommend the trip, which cost 120 lari. Thanks, Lela, we really enjoyed it.
The house was clean and had what we needed, including coffee, tea, and wine. The host was so friendly and hospitable, and you can go for a ride in the hosts' car. I fell in love with the place, especially the divine view of Kazbegi. Thanks from Latvia!
The hostess and her family were very, very nice, and the room was comfortable and spotless. She makes good homemade wine, just 10 lari. The shower pressure was a little weak, but the water was hot, so it was okay.
The rooms are lovely, and the views are amazing. I made great friends here, too. You can also buy delicious homemade wine.
