I never got to stay at the hotel, so I can’t say whether it’s good or not. I can say the management wasn’t willing to work with me when something happened beyond my control. My flight to Georgia was canceled by the airline in June because of the events at the time and airspace closures in several countries. A week before my reservation, I told the hotel I couldn’t come. They said they couldn’t help and charged me the full amount for the week. Later, Booking.com even messaged to ask why I hadn’t shown up, though I’d already told the hotel I couldn’t make it for reasons outside my control. I understand the charge was allowed under their refund policy, but I’d hoped for a little more kindness and cooperation. I had also booked a hotel in Batumi, where my flight was canceled just a few hours before departure, and that hotel was understanding and didn’t charge me anything. I’d planned to spend a week in Batumi and a week in Tbilisi, but ended up paying for the Tbilisi hotel without ever setting foot in the country. I can’t comment on the rooms or location. I just wanted to share what happened.

The staff are very friendly, and the price for the quality is perfect. It’s a cozy little hotel in the centre of Tbilisi. The room is small but has good AC, a fridge, TV, table and chair, and a closet. The shower cabin and basin seem quite new, and everything was very clean. The road nearby can be loud, though with the window shut, the noise isn’t too bad.

Epic Meidan is in a great spot for walking to many of Tibilisi’s main sights, including the Sulphur Bath houses, Cable car, Peace Bridge, and churches. Our room was clean and had its own toilet. Tamura and her husband made our stay at Epic Meridian special with their warmth. Tamura was flexible and accommodating, and helped however she could to make us feel at home. I got to experience Georgian hospitality firsthand when she heated food we’d brought from home. I also enjoyed our little chats over the Turkish coffee she kindly made for us. Thank you, Tamura and your husband. Wishing you and your family many blessings, and your daughter success representing Georgian in the International Art competition. With love, from Malaysia.

The calm atmosphere, clean place, and super friendly staff made Hotel Epic Meidan feel like home during our visit to Tbilisi. It has its own vibe, and the breakfast from their cuisine was really tasty. Highly recommended 🙌🏻

We booked two nights but left after only 10 hours. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent, so there was no privacy, and the hotel felt incredibly stingy: no water, tea, or coffee. The room was filthy, with a reptile on the broken bed and storage under the bed. I’ve attached a conversation with the hotel where they said a lot of bad things and then deleted them. I’m still going to complain to the tourism department and Georgia’s Ministry of Interior ❗️❗️❗️❗️
