Liberty Square is around a 35-40-minute walk away for anyone who likes walking, and there's a SPAR market close by. I stayed one pleasant day at IVY Hotel Tbilisi. It was clean, and the room size was fine for a short visit. The lobby was comfortable and nicely designed, and the reception staff spoke and understood English well, so it was easy to communicate. A good option for a short or transit stay.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a spectacular view. The place is beautiful, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Miriam, Jacob and Tamta at reception.

I paid 200 euros and felt I got nothing for it. The room was freezing, since the air conditioning didn't heat and they wouldn't turn on the radiator. There was no cleaning service, towel change, or bathroom cleaning. Breakfast was advertised as included, but I was asked to pay extra, which felt like a complete scam. The staff treated guests with zero respect and didn't speak a single word of English. Even in a third-world country, I've had better service. They should be paying customers to stay here. An absolute joke and daylight robbery!

Our room with a city view and balcony was the best part: it was spacious, with a king-size bed that felt bigger than king-size. The bathroom was roomy too, with a bidet, or Shattaf, and both hot and cold water. The room had everything we needed for the weather. Nights were moderately cold and mornings very chilly, which I loved. I'd suggest asking for a city-facing room on the 4th or 5th floor. The location has a great view of “trinity church Tbilisi.” It's outside the city center, so the area is quiet, with less busy streets, more cafes, and all kinds of supermarkets nearby. There is a railway track out front, but it didn't bother us. You can get around without city traffic unless you're heading downtown, and there's plenty of free parking right in front. The staff were amazing, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Breakfast has only a few options if you're looking for HALAL, but it fills you up. If you're Muslim, the bathroom setup is a treat, especially compared with the other hotel we stayed at. There's nothing to dislike. It would be awesome if they offered lunch and dinner. We ordered out every night, and even the receptionist encouraged us to do so. The hotel could make money from food and beverage service, one of the best ways for a business to earn, so I'm not sure why many hotels in Georgia don't take advantage of it. Everything else was perfect. This is the best HOTEL in Tbilisi, period, and I'll definitely stay here again if I return to the city.
