Libretto Hotel

It felt like home during my first stay in Georgia. Everyone on staff was welcoming, friendly, caring, and professional, and they were all willing to help me. I really enjoyed being here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay and have a great time.

The rooftop was my favorite part. The view was wonderful, and it was relaxing to have tea or breakfast up there. You can go up anytime. Breakfast starts at 9 am, and although the selection was limited, it tasted good. The toaster took ages, though, and the kettle leaked. The hallway design was nice too. The hotel was very quiet and felt safe, but also almost empty. The staff were kind and smiled, though they didn't really make time to chat or ask how our stay was. Breakfast aside, there were a lot of things that need fixing. We had to use an old key to open the door, the Wi-Fi was weak, the room was small for three people and had no view, and the adapter we borrowed didn't work, so we bought one at the mall. The old AC wasn't very cold, and opening the window worked much better. The bathroom hair dryer and one of the lamps were broken. We asked to change rooms and were told the hotel was fully booked. We didn't ask again the next day because we were busy on our tour. The sink also clogged when I showered, and the water wouldn't drain. We were tired, so we let it go the first night. It was still clogged the second night, when there was nobody at reception. On the third night we managed to tell the staff, and they fixed it. I'd still come back if the other issues were fixed.

The staff were very polite, and breakfast was tasty with a lovely view, even though there weren't many choices. My single room felt old, and the bed wasn't very comfortable. The hotel is fairly close to the city center, but it's up a hill, so getting there can be difficult.

I liked the terrace and its lovely view, and the girl at reception was very nice. Breakfast, though, was a real letdown: there were hardly any options, and I couldn't get coffee. The woman serving offered hot water instead. I wasn't sure if coffee cost extra or if I'd arrived too late. My room was decent, though after changing my reservation I ended up in one without a window, which didn't bother me much. The bathroom was fine, but the TV was quite small and the air conditioning worked on and off. The hotel also isn't in a central spot, which made exploring the city less convenient.
