The homemade breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the whole place had a warm, family feel. It’s a quiet, safe spot in the middle of Old Tbilisi. Our host Mikhail was wonderful and even arranged an extra night for us at the last minute. Highly recommend this little gem.

We only stayed briefly at Marani, but it was a great visit. Mikheil welcomed us warmly and was very helpful from the start. The hotel is spotless, and its distinctive art decor feels authentic. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We keep coming back to this place whenever we can. It gives us peace, puts us in a good mood, and serves delicious food and excellent homemade wine. “Marani” means “a wine vault” in Georgian, and we always take some wine home with us. The owner’s warm hugs add to the feeling. The rooms are comfortable and stylish, and the staff are friendly with great service. It’s one of our favorite places in this hectic world.

We stayed on October 9 and 10, 2022, and honestly, wow. It feels more like a family-run holiday home than a proper hotel, and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The place is in central Tbilisi, and the host makes wine, so try the homemade wine. Breakfast is included in the room rate, though they don’t offer other food, so it’s better to eat out. My ratings: cleanliness, 5 stars; comfort, 4; location, 5; host, 5; food, 3.

The Old City area around the hotel is quiet, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to the main tourist area. The building is new, with stylish rooms, good food, and wine. The owner does his best to make guests love the place.
