Sani Hotel

We had a comfortable stay and would return if we come to Tbil again. The room was clean, breakfast was decent, and coffee was available around the clock. The pool was there, though the weather wasn't suitable for us to try it. Thanks for everything, and for the welcoming staff.

The little garden and pool were a lovely surprise. It's small, but clean and cozy, and all you hear there is birds and quiet instead of traffic. The owner said the building used to be the Vatican embassy in Tbilisi. Inside, the rooms were clean, and we had a very nice stay with the kids. The staff were beyond what we expected, always cheerful and helpful, and even willing to serve breakfast after the usual morning hours. It's also right in the city center.

We liked having a comfortable place to lounge by the pool after walking around Tsiblisi. Hotel Sani was just as described, quiet and set a little uphill, with an easy trip into town. The location suited us since we wanted to be away from the tourist bustle without being hard to reach. Our room was larger than expected, the linens were great, and both the room and the whole property were cleaned thoroughly every day. I'd recommend staying here.

The main nuisance was parking. People sometimes block the hotel driveway entrance, leaving you stuck until the driver returns. If you're bringing a car, street parking is safe enough and may save the wait. Even with that hassle, I'd recommend Sani hotel and plan to stay again on my next Tbilisi visit. The staff were friendly and helped me order taxis, scan papers, and use the computer at reception. It's a compact place, with stairs to the upper floors behind reception and a basement breakfast room. Breakfast was simple, with cereal, toast, cheese, sausages, tea, coffee, and some sort of juice, but tasty enough. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. The shower had hot water and good pressure, and cleaning was thorough each day. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the back, where there's a small pool, seating area, and bar. I was there in January, so didn't get to enjoy it in warmer weather, but it looked like a nice place to spend a few hours.
