The pools were stunning and poolside service was quick, and we could walk everywhere from this perfectly located hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our four nights in September 2025. Xenia at the front desk was especially helpful with recommendations and arranging transportation. We booked a basic room and didn’t expect a balcony, but ours was tragically close to the apartment buildings next door, overlooking their courtyards. The little dog next door loved to bark, just like ours at home 🥰. The location and helpful staff more than made up for the balcony. We were busy exploring local gems, so didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants. We’d love to come back to Crete and stay here again.

I adore Agios Nikalous, there’s so much to enjoy, including several local beaches within walking distance for relaxing in the sunshine. The hotel beach area is small but welcoming, and the two beautiful pools were perfect. The one downside was people putting towels on loungers early and then not coming back for hours. I feel the hotel could manage that better. We stayed B&B, which suited us well with all the family run restaurants nearby. The hotel’s quirky style and superb interior design were amazing, and the staff were welcoming and attentive.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary at InterContinental Crete, and it felt perfect from the moment we arrived. The setting is stunning, the atmosphere relaxed yet luxurious, and the staff were professional, helpful, and always available. Argyro Papadopoulou, the Reservation Manager, arranged a room upgrade and a thoughtful surprise at short notice, which made the occasion even more memorable. Marina and Irena at the Spa were warm, friendly, and professional, and Ioannis at the rooftop bar made divine cocktails. I lost count of the delicious Daiquiris. Xenia and the concierge team sent activity and travel information before our visit, making everything go smoothly. Thank you all for making the anniversary so special. We can’t wait to return! 💙

The sea view from our room was amazing, and all the facilities were comfortable and great. We loved the delicious cocktails and room service food, and the massage was delightful. The hotel was very clean and within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Thank you to the Intercontinental staff for a wonderful vacation that my husband and I truly needed. It’s the best hotel I’ve ever been to, and I’d definitely return if I get the chance.

Our room’s private plunge pool and incredible view made the stay especially relaxing. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant, luxurious design that fits its beautiful surroundings. Facilities and thoughtful amenities were excellent, and the staff were polite, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. It’s a short walk to the heart of Agios Nikolaos, while still feeling private. A perfect stay in a luxurious setting. Highly recommended!
