We especially want to thank Nikki and the rest of the staff for all their hard work and smiles. They’re wonderful, dedicated people, and were kind and helpful throughout. The hotel is clean and peaceful, with delicious breakfasts and a terrace overlooking the sea. It’s only a few moments’ walk down to the water. We recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at Hotel Akrotiri. It may not be as fancy as some places on the island, but the rooms were clean, comfortable, and tidy, and the hotel was reasonably quiet compared with other parts. It’s right by the sea, with amazing views, and the staff were lovely and happy to help. We also visited the downstairs cafe several times. It’s a good quiet base for exploring the island, and we’d book again if we return.

The downstairs restaurant and bar area was just right, and breakfast was lovely, especially the chocolate crepe. The hotel was spotless, with an authentic Greek feel, and it’s right on the beach. It’s great value. Hire a car and you can visit the village up the road, with its lovely restaurants, and drive around the island easily. There’s a bus stop right outside too, but check the timetable since it changes with the seasons.
