Altea Apartments

Restaurants and supermarkets are close by, and the walkable part of Fira is just two blocks away. The apartment is spacious, with a big kitchen, and they cleaned every day. There’s some construction in the neighborhood, as other reviews mention, but it’s moving slowly. We stayed six days and barely noticed any noise.

The bed was comfortable, the room had a safe, and there was plenty of coffee in the morning. The prices were great for Santorini, and the service was impeccable. It’s a very handy location, central but away from the nightlife noise. The windows and doors are double glazed, the balcony is lovely, and the room was spotless with no sewage smell. There’s free private parking, car rental around the corner, and Vales coffee house nearby for a good, inexpensive breakfast. It’s a family run place with wonderful hospitality. Thanks for helping make our holiday so relaxing and enjoyable.

We really enjoyed staying in these lovely apartments. The host was helpful with directions and recommendations, and Fira center, the bus station, and shops were all an easy walk away.

The host took time to walk us through everything and make sure we’d have a good stay. He also arranged our taxis for both arrival and departure, and they were very good. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped. It’s only a short walk from the main center. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
