Caldera Cliff Illusion

The floating breakfast in the outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight. We had plenty of fresh, delicious food, all beautifully presented, while sitting in the warm water and looking out over the caldera. It felt surreal, one of those “I can’t believe this is real life” moments. If you’re thinking about it, book it immediately. We were in Kamari for a holiday and stayed one night at Caldera Cliff in Fira as a special birthday treat. The room had red rose petals scattered around and a bottle of wine waiting for us, a lovely touch that made the occasion feel special. The caldera views were breathtaking, and the famous Santorini sunset was even more beautiful in person. The sky shifted color minute by minute, and for a while everything else seemed to stop. Photos really don’t capture it. Sophia greeted us with such warmth that we felt relaxed and special straight away. Her hospitality set the tone for our stay. The room felt luxurious and thoughtfully done, with the view right outside. I’m usually not lost for words, but this place came close. It became a memory we’ll talk about for years. Thanks to Sophia and everyone at Caldera Cliff Illusion for making the birthday celebration so lovely. We left with full hearts, lots of photos, and dreams of coming back. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in, and an unforgettable Santorini experience I’d recommend.

Sofia at reception was our favorite part of staying at Caldera Cliffs. She was helpful and full of information, made sure we had what we needed, helped arrange transportation, and checked that we were comfortable. The spacious room had a hot tub, and the views of the volcano, caldera, and city of Fira were wonderful. We also loved the location and the views from the hotel.

We had privacy away from the main roads while still being within walking distance of everything. Our room was cleaned every day, and the staff were helpful whenever we needed something. My husband and I really enjoyed having breakfast outside and looking at the stunning view from our room. It was a lovely stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The views were beautiful both in daylight and at night, and breakfast arrived looking lovely every morning. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were all friendly, and the service made us feel welcome and well looked after. We were very happy with our stay, couldn’t fault anything, and would recommend it to others. 10/10 for us.
