Hotel Mylos

We had a top-floor room with a sea view, and it was perfect. The views in the morning were amazing, and the sunset view was just as good. Suela was a wonderful host. She gave us great tips for places to visit and eat, and booked taxis to get around the island. We recommend it 100%.

The location made getting into town quick, and everything we needed was nearby. Panos was helpful and very accommodating. Our room had plenty of storage and felt just right for two, plus it was clean and had an amazing view from the balcony. Breakfast was complimentary and brought to our balcony table each morning. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mylos and would recommend it.

The views are easily the best part: step outside and you can see Santorini and the volcanic rocks opposite. It’s also reasonably priced, and while the room is very basic, it does the job. The hotel itself is pleasant, but it could do a lot better at responding to what guests ask for. Breakfast was just bread and cereal, with no fruit, toast, or pastries, and the coffee was terrible. I’d been warned not to drink the tap water, so I asked for bottled water I’d seen in storage. The woman serving breakfast said water wasn’t included and sent me to the mini market. The next day I skipped breakfast and asked if I could just have water and coffee. They agreed to the coffee but said they couldn’t give me water. They acted like I’d asked for a double whiskey on the rocks.

We stayed for three nights with our 3.5-year-old and had nothing to complain about. The staff were really friendly, and everyone wore a mask when talking with us. Room 104 was lovely and clean, with a nice balcony where we had breakfast each morning. Totally recommend it.
