Ifestos Villa

We stayed five days and would happily return with family. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the peaceful area made it easy to relax. The owners checked in on us, lent us pool towels, helped with bus questions, and arranged special treats for our anniversary and my birthday. Airport pickups and drop-offs were easy, and both drivers were friendly. The pool bar served great breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed the cocktails. There’s a supermarket a 3-minute walk away, and the main town is within 5 minutes. We have nothing but good things to say, and the owners made the holiday memorable. One night, we woke a few times because someone’s alarm carried through the room soundproofing, but that was minor and didn’t affect the trip.

The staff were warm and always ready to share local tips or help out, and breakfast by the pool was tasty and well-priced. The pool area is on the small side, and some noise carries between rooms, but those were minor drawbacks. Ifestos Villa is a welcoming, well-run place in Fira, just a few minutes on foot from shops, restaurants, and the town center while still feeling peaceful. Our clean, comfortable room had daily housekeeping, a fridge, and strong air conditioning. I’d definitely recommend it for a Santorini visit.

The area was nice, but the service was below mediocre. We were threatened with a $10,000 fine because the kids were playing in the pool in a way the staff didn’t like. Their kids splash each other. Threatening that kind of fine over kids splashing is INSANE. It’s a 3 star hotel for a reason. Definitely wouldn’t book again, there are a lot of better places around.

The apartment worked well for me and my 2 adult children. It was spotless, and they cleaned it daily with fresh towels. Staff were friendly and had useful suggestions for outings. We also had a tasty breakfast on our first day. The pool was a good size, had places to sit, and was great for a dip before or after a hot day out. Pool towels were available at reception. Fira, the bus station, supermarket, and restaurants are all a 5 mins walk away. From the back of the hotel, you can watch a lovely sunset without the crowds.
