Ikastikies Suites

Ikastikies Suites gave us such a wonderful sense of an authentic Greek experience. It’s in a quiet, intimate spot away from Fira’s noise, but still a short walk from the excitement. Giorgos was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Our suite was spotless and beautifully maintained, with lovely smelling linens that made it feel extra comfortable. Breakfast quickly became our favorite part of each morning: fresh, delicious, and served with care. I’d stay again in a heartbeat, 1000%. Honestly, I wish we lived here. For comfort, charm, and the BEST hospitality, this is the place to book for a true Santorini experience.

Our family trip was the three of us, two sisters and our mom. All the Caldera hotels have lovely looks, and many share a similar style, but Ikastikies Suites stood out for its beautiful property and views, and especially for our hosts, Giorgos and his wife Sophie, who own and run it. They were positive, friendly, hospitable, and helpful throughout. It felt like being treated as family, not guests. They made everything comfortable and easy, from the breakfasts we enjoyed on our balcony to helping us plan excursions. They provided everything we needed and more. The suites are in Firostefani, closer to the island’s center and less touristy, which we loved. The sunsets were the most breathtaking I’ve ever seen. I’m so glad we stayed with them, it made the trip more memorable and fun. Thank you so much, from the Davoudi family in California!

The rooms felt like a villa set into caves, yet each one was spacious, stylish, beautiful, and very clean. The beds were comfortable, too. From the cliffside hotel, we watched boats and ships pass on the water, and the views and sunsets were unreal. George and Sophie own this incredible boutique place and were more hospitable, professional, friendly, and helpful than anywhere we’ve stayed. George handled everything, from breakfast and dinner reservations to transportation, and his suggestions for our daily excursions were perfect. He made us feel like family. Greece was our first stop, and we’ll never forget the experience.

The rooms and beds are really comfortable, and the pool and lounge are great places to unwind after a full day of walking. The included breakfast is more like a full brunch, enough to fill you up for the day. Giorgios can arrange tours and a car, and recommend excellent stops, which saves time and effort. Good stay guaranteed. We’ll return one day.
