The Grand Cave House

The private elevator to the terrace made getting around especially easy, and the location worked well for exploring. Central Fira is a 10-15 minute walk away, close enough for its shops, restaurants, and nightlife, while the house itself stays peaceful. The Grand Cave House Santorini has a distinctive cave feel, with the cool, soothing atmosphere and elegant design of a traditional Cycladic home. The sea and sunrise views from the terrace are beautiful, and the terrace and pool are lovely places to unwind. The hosts are attentive, kind, and quick to help with arrival, transfers, pastries, or local advice. For a charming island stay with unusual accommodation and thoughtful service, we’d recommend it.

Nikos made our stay feel unforgettable. He was warm, attentive, dedicated, and always available with advice. The Grand Cave House is also perfectly placed for exploring the island, just steps from the caldera. The house itself is beautiful, with traditional architecture and modern comforts, including a private elevator to the terrace. We loved the private pool and its sunrise views. Our stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it for a dream trip with friends, as a couple, or with family.

We felt at home straight away in this spacious, clean cave house. It’s well equipped and suited to us as a couple or would work for a family too. Sunrise from the incredible view was a highlight, as was relaxing on the terrace by the private pool 😊. The welcome was warm and thoughtful. It’s close to restaurants, little shops, and places to visit, yet still peaceful. A real haven. We’d gladly return and recommend it.

We stayed in August 2025 and were lucky to find this traditional cave house right in the heart of the city. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning, and all the comforts we needed. The place is spacious, clean, fully equipped, and beautifully decorated. The terrace and pool overlooking the sea and sunrise were incredible. There’s even an elevator in the villa, which felt like pure luxury. Having a parking space was a real bonus since we rented a car and parking downtown can be difficult. Countless little streets, shops, and restaurants are nearby, and the caldera and a spectacular viewpoint are only a five-minute walk away. It’s an ideal spot if you want to be in the middle of Santorini life. Our host, Nikos, is an extraordinary person who made the stay unforgettable.
