Villa Rose

Villa Rose was a pleasant place to stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful and quick to respond. You can walk into Fira’s center from the hotel, and the bus station makes it easy to get anywhere on the island. We recommend it.

We had a ground-floor apartment for a week, and I’d happily stay here again. My daughter and I found the bed very comfortable, the room spacious, and the small kitchen well equipped with a fridge, hob, kettle, teabags and coffee. There was fresh water and croissants in the fridge every morning. The bathroom was lovely, with shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, towels and slippers provided. The wifi never gave us any trouble. Staff cleaned the room every day, changed the linen and made the bed beautifully. The pool is small but just right, and the outdoor area is relaxed and nicely arranged. The owners and staff were amazing, always available while still giving us room to relax. The location suited us perfectly: away from the crowds but within walking distance of the bus station and Fira’s main street.

Sissi, the blonde receptionist, was friendly and helpful right from the start. She took care of all the details and helped us as much as she could, and her recommendations were brilliant. Thanks so much for the assistance. I’d happily come back whenever I can.

That little kitchen made the room especially useful, while it still had the feel of a hotel. The decor was lovely, and the bathroom was roomy. There was a hair dryer and an iron too. I stayed four days and really loved the service and hospitality.
